1. Overview of the Vector Tag
The Vector Tag is a compact, durable device designed for tracking and managing assets in various environments. It utilises 2.4Ghz radio frequency technology to communicate with smartphones, tablets, or gateways, providing real-time location data and alerts.

Setting Up Your Vector Tag
Remove the Vector Tag from its packaging.
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds and await an audible tone and flashing LED
Quick press the button one more time, the LED will flash quickly, Red if not connected to app and Blue if it is connected.
2. Connecting Your Device to Atlas
Login to your Atlas account with details provided, download the Atlas app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
The Vector Tag does not need to be paired with your mobile device or tracking platform, it is preconfigured and ready for use.
Proceed to name your tag within the 'client admin' Atlas account details provided, then assign your new Tag to an asset.
Using Your Vector Tag
1. Tracking Assets
The iottag portal displays the real-time location of your Vector Tag on a map.
2. Checking Battery Status
Battery status is displayed in the iottag app. You will receive notifications when the battery is low.
3. Customising Alerts and Settings
Customize alert settings for movement, battery level, and geofence boundaries within the portal.
Adjust the tracking frequency to balance between precision and battery life.
Maintaining Your Vector Tag
Keep the tag dry and clean. Wipe with a dry cloth if it gets dirty.
Avoid exposing the tag to extreme temperatures.
Replace the battery by removing the four screws at the back of the Tag and insert CR2405 battery.
Tag not connecting to cloud: Ensure your system is on and try moving the Tag closer to a Gateway.
Location not updating: Check your Gateway and phone settings to ensure data connection services are enabled.
Battery issues: If your tag stops working, check the battery status via the portal and replace the battery if necessary.

The iottag Vector Tag comes with a standard two year warranty covering manufacturing defects. For support, visit the iottag website or contact customer service via support tickets within the portal.
